NASA's unique CNC SURFMATE is designed to convert any manual surface grinder into a state of the art,
CNC contour grinder, capable of automatically grinding intricate, close tolerance shapes, or just simple forms, with ease and accuracy, simply by mounting the self contained unit on your existing machine.
This system eliminates the use of your existing saddle, table and column movements, and only requires the use of your grinding spindle.
This system is extremely accurate, and ideal for grinding
ceramic, carbide, steel and most other types of materials.
The SURFMATE is standard with full CNC control of the Y and Z axes, a high speed DITHER axis, and a diamond dressing device for unique wheel forms.
